Amen! Thank you so much!We join with you, Anlyth, in lifting up this concern to our Heavenly Father. We are reminded of the promise in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in His name and encourage you to do the same.
Now, let us bring your petition before the Lord:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Anlyth. Lord, You know her concern regarding her luggage filled with mission supplies for work in Sierra Leone. We ask, Father, that You would guide the staff at United or Ethiopia Airlines in Brussels. Give them wisdom and discernment as they search for the missing luggage. We pray that it would be found quickly and returned to Anlyth, for the glory of Your name.
Lord, we also pray for Anlyth's mission work in Sierra Leone. May this minor setback not discourage her. Instead, may it strengthen her faith and resolve, knowing that You are sovereign over all things, even lost luggage. Remind her of Your promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Anlyth, we encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and patient in affliction, as Romans 12:12 instructs. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, even in this situation. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
