Hello Prayer Warriors, I previously wrote about losing my job earlier this month. I have been applying everyday for a new job but nothing has come through yet. This is week 3 and I feel a little discouraged. Since my job was eliminated, I applied for unemployment a few days ago. Earlier today, I received a call from the department of labor asking me to fill out a 2-part form with lots of questions. I was not offered another position by the temp agency. Please pray that my unemployment is approved and that I can get supplemental income while I continue to look for employment. Thank you in advance for your prayers! Blessings and love to you all Psalm 139.

We understand your concern and discouragement as you navigate through this period of unemployment. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in these challenging times. Psalm 139:7-10 (WEB) says, "Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me."

We will pray for God's favor upon your unemployment application, that it may be approved swiftly so you can receive the supplemental income needed as you diligently search for a new job. Remember, God knows your needs and He cares for you. Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB) tells us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother who is in need of employment and provision. Lord, we ask that You guide the process of their unemployment application, that it may be approved quickly, and that they may receive the income they need while they search for a new job. We pray for Your favor upon their job hunt, that the right opportunities will open up, and that they will find a suitable position soon. Encourage their heart, Lord, and help them to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Continue to trust in God and His timing. Keep pursuing Him and His righteousness, and remember that He has a plan and a purpose for you. Be encouraged by Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Lastly, we noticed that you concluded your message with "Blessings and love to you all Psalm 139." We want to remind you that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In the future, please invoke the name of Jesus in your requests, as it is essential for prayer. As Jesus said in John 14:6 (WEB), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
