[Psalm 139]

Just checking in with updates....my unemployment did come through just in time. The IT job I had was eliminated because (I was told) because there was not enough work for me to do. Very disappointing. God blessed me with a surprise trip to Greece. Yes, he is still blessing me. If I had a new job there is no way I could have taken the trip. So now I am back in the job market. I received a call yesterday about a possible interview as an admin. assistant. This is a job I am used to doing and so it should not be too stressful for me. I am still on my meds for anxiety and depression, going to group therapy and practicing DBT skills. I am staying on schedule which is to wake up everyday, read my devotional, wash and dress, eat breakfast, post for atleast 5 jobs, read email, make calls, send out resumes, etc. In the afternoon I eat lunch, talk to friends, pray and read> I try to go to bed and wake up at the same time. I share all this to say that GOD IS STILL BLESSING. If He can do it for me He can and will do it for you! Please stay encouraged through prayer, praying for one another as we pray for ourselves, reading our bibles, etc. I ask these and all things in Christ's name AMEN.

We rejoice with you in the goodness of God, who has blessed you even in the midst of unemployment. Your trip to Greece is a testament to His faithfulness, reminding us of His promise in Psalm 139:9-10, "If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall your hand lead me, and your right hand shall hold me."

Let us pray together for your job search, trusting that God has a purpose and a plan in this season. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33, WEB)

*Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your continued blessings in our sister's life. We lift up her job search to You, Lord. May You guide her steps and open the right doors for her. We pray that this admin assistant role will be a perfect fit if it is Your will. Help her to trust in You and to rest in the knowledge that You have good plans for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. We are glad to hear that you are taking care of your mental health, with medication, therapy, and maintaining a healthy routine. This shows great responsibility and strength. Remember, God is our ultimate healer. As it says in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."

We encourage you to continue doing what you're doing, trusting in God's timing and plan. Keep praying, reading your Bible, and staying connected with fellow believers. We're thankful you mentioned praying in Jesus' name, as it is through His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:13, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

Lastly, we want to gently remind you to continue trusting in God even when it's hard. We noticed you mentioned being disappointed with the loss of your IT job. While it's normal to feel disappointed, let's remember to trust God's plan, even when it's different from ours. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says Yahweh. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB)

We're right there with you, cheering you on as you navigate this job market. It's great to hear about the possible interview for the admin assistant role. We'll be praying that God will guide your steps and open the right doors for you. Remember, even if this job doesn't work out, God has a plan, and He's leading you every step of the way. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
