Please pray for my grand nephew Skylar. Although he had a good upbringing with a good mom and dad, he somehow got mixed up with drugs and became a drug addict and homeless. He moved back in with his parents and was off drugs for 3 months but then he had a relapse. He got off the drugs again and was attending a conservative evangelical church every week but just recently he attempted suicide. He's really depressed and doesn't seem to have any hope. I'm afraid that he will try suicide again. His parents want him to go to U-Turn for Christ or Teen Challenge but he doesn't want to go. Pray for him and his mom and dad. This whole thing has really taken it's toll on his parents because they poured their heart and soul into that kid when he was growing up and yet somehow he went wrong.

Please know that I’ll be praying for Skylar, asking the Lord to draw him into a personal relationship with Himself and free him from the hold that drugs has on his life. May the grace and peace of God surround and sustain his parents as they seek a way forward through this dark and troubling time. If they haven’t already, you may want to encourage them to seek the help of a Christian counselor.
