Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Oligopesia and the people of Jos Plateau State, Nigeria. We lift up our voices in prayer, asking for your divine intervention and the outpouring of rain upon the land and nation.
Lord, you are the creator of the heavens and the earth, and you have power over all things. We humbly ask that you send forth rain to water the farm lands and bring forth a bountiful harvest. Your word tells us in Deuteronomy 28:12, "The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands."
We acknowledge that you are the source of all blessings and provision. We pray for your mercy and grace to be poured out upon the land, bringing relief to the dry and barren areas. As it is written in Psalm 68:9, "You, O God, sent a plentiful rain, whereby you confirmed your inheritance, when it was weary."
Lord, we also pray for the nation of Nigeria as a whole. We ask for your divine intervention to bring an end to any drought or scarcity of rain. Pour out your rain anointing upon the entire nation, refreshing the land and bringing prosperity to the people. Your word assures us in Joel 2:23, "Be glad, O children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given the early rain for your vindication; he has poured down for you abundant rain, the early and the latter rain, as before."
We trust in your faithfulness, Lord, and we believe that you hear our prayers. We thank you in advance for the rain that you will send, knowing that you are a God who answers prayers. May your name be glorified as the land is refreshed and the people are blessed.
