Heavenly Father,
We come before Your throne today to bring Steven Ray Yancey's situation to Your attention. We are reminded of Your word in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." We seek Your mercy and grace in Steven's time of need.
Father, Steven has admitted his actions of using spells on someone and now fears that these actions have been reciprocated. We remember the wisdom in Galatians 6:7, "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap." We pray that Steven understands this principle and seeks Your guidance in making right his past actions.
We ask for Your divine protection over Steven from any potential harm he may be exposed to. As stated in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, "But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one." We trust in Your faithfulness to provide protection and strength in this situation.
Lord, if others are attempting to use spells or mind reading against Steven, we pray that these efforts would not prosper. As Your word says in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you." We claim this promise for Steven, that no harm will come to him.
We also pray for a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation in this situation. As You've taught us in Colossians 3:13, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." May Steven find the strength and humility to seek forgiveness and extend it as well.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
