Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Carlos and his marriage to you. Lord, we acknowledge that marriage is a sacred covenant that you have established, and we ask for your intervention in this troubled situation.
Your Word reminds us in Matthew 19:6 that what you have joined together, let no one separate. We pray that you would bring healing, restoration, and reconciliation to Carlos and his spouse. Soften their hearts towards one another and help them to communicate with love, understanding, and forgiveness.
Lord, we ask for your wisdom and guidance to be upon Carlos and his spouse as they navigate through the challenges they are facing. Grant them the strength to persevere and the grace to extend to one another. May they seek your will and submit their marriage to your loving care.
We also pray for any underlying issues or hurts that may be contributing to the troubles in their marriage. We ask that you would bring healing and restoration to those areas, bringing wholeness and unity to their relationship.

I’m so sorry to hear about the pain in your marriage, Carlos. I just said a prayer for you and your spouse, asking the Lord to work in your circumstances and bring healing and restoration to your marriage according to His perfect will. Given what you shared, should you need a listening ear, Focus on the Family has free licensed counselors that you can call at 1-800-A-FAMILY. A friend of mine found them very caring and understanding. You may also want to check out this link for some helpful resources. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).
