Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about your suffering. The Bible tells us, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22, WEB).

Please relieve him from the pain and restore his health, so he can sleep peacefully and go about his daily activities.
Lord Jesus, we also pray that Abel will come to know You more deeply. Reveal Yourself to him, and grant him the faith to trust in Your name. We ask that You sustain him through this trial and fill him with Your peace.
