Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of hope and trust, lifting up our dear brother or sister in Christ, who has reapplied for a visa after a previous refusal. Lord, Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." We stand on this promise today, believing that You are guiding every step of this process.
Father, we ask for Your favor upon the statement of purpose that has been submitted. We pray that the IRCC officers will be considerate and understanding, and that they will see the sincerity and truth in the application. As it is written in Psalm 5:12, "Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield." Surround our brother or sister with Your divine favor, Lord.
We also pray for peace and patience during this waiting period. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let this peace guard the heart and mind of our dear one, knowing that You are in control.
Lord, we thank You in advance for the work You are doing and will continue to do in this situation. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May this testimony be used to glorify Your name and encourage others in their faith journey.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
