Hello - I'm just curious if anyone has ever had their prayers answered. I have been praying for 10 years that God would send me my husband so I could be loved and have a family - I am still waiting.

Why is he punishing me? I'm out of ideas. I don't know what to do anymore. I am lonely. My mother hates me because I'm single, she is embarrassed to tell her friends. I don't know what to do.

So I am just wondering if anyone has had their prayers answered what they did. Should I pray different? I don't know.

Dear pleasepray4me, God does answer our prayers, i have had some answered, nothing major yet, im praying for it and believe it will happen, He does things in His own time and it takes a lot of faith and patience from us, God is not punishing you, there is a way to pray differently, instead of saying when is it going to happen, you can start to thank God for the right man for you to come into your life, to say thank you before it happens, it is trusting God to do what is best for you and you can say Thy Will be done, i have just started saying that at the end of my night prayers. Your mother should not be feeling this way, it is better to be single for now than have someone that will be a nightmare in your life. I will  pray for you.You need to know something very important.You need to love yourself,whether or not anyone else does,and you need to know that God loves you,unconditionally,whether or not anyone else does.If your mother does not love you because you are single,then her love is conditional,and she would not truly love you even if you had a mate.Make sure that you are ready for a relationship when God does send you someone-part of that is knowing that you are whole and complete with or without a man.Also,enjoy your friends and God's love .I know how you feel,I was there.Be careful to choose wisely,being single,as hard as that can be,is better than being with the wrong person.
