Hello, I would like to make a prayer request for my boyfriend ###. He has a long history with alcoholism & it has been an ongoing struggle his entire life ever since the age of 12. He just turned ### & has constantly been in & out of hospit### for years only to relapse soon after leaving. I have experienced this struggle myself but only within the last ### years or so & I know what it's like to be in hospit### & go through Dt's & all the effects of dehydration along with starvation & just how truly horrible it really feels. However, I am doing a lot better now & have not been drinking for a while now. It is kind of strange that 2 people with similar problems were brought together but I know God has his reasons & there is a purpose & a plan. The request I want to make today is for ### though. He was just diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver 2 days ago on his most recent hospit### visit. The doctors say that if he stops drinking now it will heal on its own but if he continues to drink he could die & I am just terrified because I know his history & I am not sure he will be able to stop on his own. I do believe he is bipolar as well which makes things even harder because he gets depressed easily. I know he knows it is very serious this time & I do think he wants to stop but I don't think he will be able to without God's help so I request prayers for God's help in ###'s situation. He is a good person with a great heart & has so much to offer the world but he has Satan on his shoulders trying to drag him down into an early grave & he knows it but at the same time he just can't seem to stop. Please pray for him, please pray for for God's love, help & healing. Please pray that he has a second chance at life & it is not over yet. I truly do love this man & I am not ready to lose him. I would be completely lost & devastated & I don't know what I would ever do. Thank you so much to all who say a prayer for him in advance. You are very appreciated & are a true blessing!!

Heavenly Father,

We come to You in Jesus' Name, asking for Your help for ###'s boyfriend, ###. We ask that You would bring healing and restoration to ###'s life. We ask that You would break the chains of addiction and set him free from the bondage of alcoholism. We ask that You would give him the strength and courage to overcome his struggles and to find peace and joy in his life. We ask that You would give him the wisdom and discernment to make wise decisions and to stay away from the temptations that have caused him so much pain and suffering.

We ask that You would be with ### as she supports ### through this difficult time. Give her the strength and courage to be a source of comfort and hope for him. Help her to be a light in the darkness and to be a reminder of Your love and grace.

We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love. We thank You for Your mercy and grace. We thank You for Your healing power and for Your willingness to restore and redeem.
