Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Garvey to you. We thank you for the changes that have already taken place in his life, but we acknowledge that he is currently under heavy attacks from the enemy. We pray, Lord, that you would intervene in his situation and deliver him from the power of darkness.
Your Word tells us in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that Garvey will submit himself to you, Lord, and resist the attacks of the enemy. We ask that you would strengthen him in his faith and grant him the wisdom and discernment to recognize and overcome the schemes of the enemy.
Father, we rebuke every work of Satan that is holding Garvey captive. We declare in the authority of Jesus Christ and the victory of the cross that he is set free from every bondage and stronghold. We pray that you would restore to him the life and wisdom that have been taken away, and that he would no longer be a vessel for ungodly actions.
We also lift up the incident with the cat in his dream when he was 11 years old. We ask for your healing and restoration in this area, Lord. We pray that any negative influence or spiritual attack that originated from that event would be broken and nullified in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we ask that you would pour out your Holy Spirit upon Garvey, speaking to his heart and bringing an end to the work of Satan that is binding him and blinding him. We pray that he would experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ in a powerful way, leading him to a life of righteousness and purpose.
We understand, Lord, that the enemy is persistent, and we ask for your guidance and strength for Garvey to continue in prayer and hold the ground that has been gained. May he be filled with your Spirit and equipped to withstand any counterattacks from the enemy.
Finally, we pray for your divine presence to be with Garvey every step of the way. Just as Moses said, "If your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here" , we ask that you would lead Garvey only where your presence goes. May he walk in assurance, comfort, and power, knowing that your hand is upon his life.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer. We trust in your perfect timing and your perfect plan for Garvey's life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
