Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with a humble heart, lifting up ### in prayer. Your Word assures us in 1 Peter 5:7 to "cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us." ### is facing a challenging time, going to court for a DUI and grieving the recent loss of a beloved husband. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention and mercy in this situation.
Father, we pray for favor in the courtroom. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us that "the king's heart is in the hand of the Lord; He directs it like a watercourse wherever He pleases." We ask that You guide the judge's heart and grant leniency and compassion, so that ### may avoid jail time and find a path to restoration and healing.
We also pray for strength and comfort during this period of grief. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." May ### feel Your comforting presence and find solace in Your unfailing love.
Lord, we thank You for the commitment to never drink again. We ask for Your strength and guidance to uphold this promise. Philippians 4:13 declares, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Empower ### to make wise choices and to lean on You for support.
We trust in Your perfect plan and timing, and we place this situation into Your capable hands. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
