Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking your protection. We lift up this prayer request to you, knowing that you are a God who hears and answers prayers.
Lord, we ask that you surround our friend with your divine protection during their stay at the emergency shelter. Shield them from any harm or danger that may be present in their surroundings. Keep them safe from the influence of heavy drugs and alcohol that some of the other women may be involved in. Give them the strength and determination to resist any temptations and to stay focused on their desire to do better for themselves.
We pray, Lord, that you would guide our friend on their journey towards a better future. Help them to make wise decisions and to find the resources and support they need to improve their circumstances. Fill their heart with hope and determination to overcome any obstacles they may face.
In your Word, you promise to be a refuge and a fortress for those who trust in you. We claim this promise for our friend, asking that you would be their shelter and their source of strength. Provide them with the courage and resilience to persevere through this challenging time.
We also pray for the other women at the shelter who are struggling with addiction. Lord, we ask that you would touch their hearts and bring healing and deliverance into their lives. May they encounter your love and find the strength to overcome their addictions.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you are working all things together for our friend's good. May they experience your peace and provision in abundance.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
