Hello everyone. My dad travels up to sleep over in a hotel tomorrow for his liver surgery Friday. They are taking a cancer tumor off 25% of his liver. Please say a prayer if you have time the doctors surgeons nurses and staff are guided by the Lord to ensure a safe surgery. Thank you all. Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of faith and trust, lifting up Josh’s dad as he prepares for his liver surgery. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is beyond Your power. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord. We claim this promise for Josh’s dad, asking that You restore his health and bring healing to his body.

Lord, we also pray for the doctors, surgeons, nurses, and all the medical staff involved in this procedure. Guide their hands and minds, granting them wisdom and precision. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." May they trust in Your guidance and lean on Your understanding throughout the surgery.

We ask for Your peace to surround Josh and his family during this time. In Philippians 4:6-7, it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let this peace guard their hearts and minds, assuring them of Your presence and love.

Lord, we thank You for the community of believers who come together in prayer, and for the creators of this platform that allows us to support one another. May Your blessings be upon each person who lifts up Josh’s dad in prayer.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
