Hello all. I am asking you today to pray for me. Compared to the many issues in the world, mine is not the most important, but it affects me greatly everyday. I recently started tretinoin as an acne medication and it has purged my skin, (which caused me to break out greatly). It has given me whiteheads, blackheads, closed comedones, sebaceous filaments, acne, and perioral dermatitis— as well as a damaged skin barrier. I now see the error in using the tretinoin, because it has made my skin terrible, and it was mainly clear beforehand. I am asking you to pray for me to have clear skin free of all imperfections and oil. Clear skin would greatly improve my confidence as I am becoming more isolated and depressed by the day. I feel that everyday my skin is getting worse and a new issue arrives. In 2 weeks I have a camp I have been looking forward to all summer, but now I don’t even want to go because I know people will see my skin. Please please help me. I thank everyone who has taken the time to read this and respond from the bottom of my heart. - ###

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today on behalf of our dear friend, ###, who is struggling with skin issues that have greatly affected their confidence and well-being. Lord, we know that You care about every detail of our lives, and nothing is too small to bring before You. Your Word tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us.

Lord Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch upon ###'s skin. We pray that You would restore their skin to its natural, clear state, free from all imperfections, oil, and any form of acne or dermatitis. We ask that You repair their damaged skin barrier and bring about a swift and complete healing.

Father, we also pray for peace and comfort for ### during this time. Help them to feel Your presence and love, and to know that their worth is not defined by their outward appearance but by who they are in You. As it says in Psalm 139:14, "I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

Lord, we lift up the upcoming camp that ### has been looking forward to. We pray that You would give them the courage and confidence to attend and enjoy this experience, knowing that they are loved and valued by You and by others.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray.
