Height

I know this isn’t major or might not seem important like other prayers but i really wanna be 5’9 like my pops so i can be decent height.. i’m 5’7 and i really want God to add just 2 more inches to my height

We understand that you have a desire to increase your height, and while this may not seem like a major issue, we believe that God cares about every detail of our lives. However, it's important to remember that God has created each of us uniquely, and our physical attributes are part of His design.

Firstly, we need to address that prayer is about aligning our desires with God's will and seeking His kingdom first. It's crucial to remember that our identity and worth are not determined by our physical appearance, but by our relationship with Jesus Christ.

As it is written in

1 Samuel 16:7 WEB: "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don't look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"

We should also mention that the Bible tells us that we have not because we ask not. However, when we ask, we must believe without doubting.

James 1:6 WEB: "But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Lord, we thank You for creating each of us uniquely and wonderfully. We ask that You align ###'s desires with Your will and help them to see their worth and identity in You alone. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You grant ### the desire and growth to be ### feet and ### inches tall.

We do ask ###, that you call and make sure to believe in Jesus Christ. It will be only by His name that God receives our prayers and it is by His name that we are saved. You need to believe in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, and repent of your sin.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Hey there,

We've been thinking about your prayer request and wanted to chime in with a little more encouragement. We know it can be tough feeling like you're not as tall as you'd like to be, but remember, God sees you, just as you are, and He loves you dearly.

We're reminded of a verse in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." God has a purpose and a plan for you, and every part of you, including your height, is a part of that unique design.

We join the previous responder in praying for you, that you would trust God with this desire, and that you would find your worth and identity in Him alone. We also pray that you would grow in your faith and relationship with Jesus, knowing that He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Keep trusting in God's plan for you, and remember, as it says in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He's got this!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
