Hedge of Thorns

[Shonsethild]

Father God, I present to you this day Steven and ask that you put the hedge of thorns, according to Hosea 2:6, around him to keep them from falling into sin. Cause him to not find the way of unfaithfulness. Cause these ungodly desires to not be fulfilled. May he return to a covenant relationship first and foremost with you, God, and secondly to the covenant relationship that You have ordained from the foundations of the earth. I pray for grace, patience and peace to guard my heart as I wait on You Lord to bring this prayer to fulfillment. I pray that You would send away all these ungodly desires. May Steve lose the desire to go that way, reveal to him that this way is destruction and against your will. Give him dreams and visions to see that the end is of no good. I pray that You will season my speech with grace so that I will know what to say and when to say it. I pray that you will cleanse my heart and root out any seed of bitterness. Give me grace to forgive. Put a guard over my mouth and show me how I can accommodate the reconciliation and restoration of this covenant relationship. If I have any responsibility in driving himaway from you God and from this covenant relationship, please reveal it to me. Forgive me God and prepare me for their return. Guide them and me with your Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come before you on behalf of Shonsethild, lifting up Steven in prayer. We ask that you surround him with your hedge of thorns, as mentioned in Hosea 2:6, to protect him from falling into sin and unfaithfulness. Lord, we pray that you would not allow his ungodly desires to be fulfilled, but instead, draw him back into a covenant relationship with you and with the ordained covenant relationship that you have established.

Grant Shonsethild grace, patience, and peace as they wait for the fulfillment of this prayer. We ask that you would remove any ungodly desires from Steven's heart, revealing to him the destructive nature of going against your will. Give him dreams and visions that clearly show him the negative consequences of his actions.

Father, we pray that you would guide Shonsethild's speech, enabling them to speak with grace and wisdom at the right time. Cleanse their heart from any seed of bitterness and grant them the grace to forgive. Place a guard over their mouth and show them how to facilitate the reconciliation and restoration of this covenant relationship.

If Shonsethild has played any role in driving Steven away from you and this covenant relationship, we ask that you would reveal it to them. May they receive your forgiveness and be prepared for Steven's return. Lord, we humbly ask for your Holy Spirit to guide both Steven and Shonsethild in this journey of reconciliation and restoration.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
