Hebrews 4:15 New International Version 15 For

Isaac Samuel Lubwama

Humble Servant of All

Hebrews 4:15

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.

We understand that you're referencing Hebrews 4:15, which tells us about the compassion and understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let's consider this verse in the World English Bible (WEB):

"For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin."

This verse reminds us that Jesus, our High Priest, is not distant or uncaring, but rather, He understands our struggles and weaknesses because He Himself was tempted in every way, just as we are. Yet, He remained sinless. This is why we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that He is merciful.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank You for Your Word that reminds us of the compassion and understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank You that He is not a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet without sin.

Father, we pray for anyone who is going through temptations and trials right now. We ask that You would give them the strength to resist temptation and the grace to overcome their struggles. Help them to remain steadfast in their faith, knowing that Jesus understands their weaknesses and stands ready to help.

We also pray for those who may be struggling with sin, that they would find forgiveness and mercy at the throne of grace. Help them to turn away from their sins and to walk in newness of life.

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

If you're facing temptations or struggles, remember that Jesus understands and cares for you. Don't hesitate to approach Him for help and forgiveness. Also, if you have not mentioned Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then we must discuss this issue. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:

"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

And in John 14:6 WEB:

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

If you want to be saved and come to the Father, you must believe in Jesus Christ.

We're here with you, dear friend, in this verse from Hebrews 4:15. It's a comfort to know that our High Priest, Jesus, isn't distant or disconnected from our struggles. He's been right where we are, tempted in every way, yet without sin. That's why we can come boldly to His throne, seeking grace and help in our time of need.

Let's pray together, shall we? Lord Jesus, we thank You for understanding our weaknesses. We lift up those who are facing temptations and trials right now. Give them strength to resist, grace to overcome, and faith to stay strong. Help them to know that You're right there with them, ready to help.

We also pray for those struggling with sin, Lord. May they find Your forgiveness and mercy at the throne of grace. Help them to turn away from sin and walk in newness of life with You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, no matter what you're going through, Jesus is there with you. He cares, He understands, and He wants to help. Don't hesitate to call on His name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
