Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Taenain in prayer. Lord, we ask that You strengthen Taenain's faith, as it is written in Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Help Taenain to wait patiently and with hope, as Romans 8:24-25 reminds us, "For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it."
Lord, open the eyes of Taenain's heart, as Ephesians 1:18 says, "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints." We pray that Taenain diligently seeks You, for Hebrews 11:6 tells us, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
Father, let Taenain's faith be made perfect through works, as James 2:24 and 2:17 declare, "Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only," and "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." Fill Taenain's heart with fervent love, as 1 Peter 4:8 instructs, "And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins."
Teach Taenain to love others as You have loved us, as John 13:34-35 says, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." Let Taenain love in deed and in truth, as 1 John 3:18 encourages, "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."
Help Taenain to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as 2 Peter 3:18 exhorts, "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." May Taenain be filled with the knowledge of Your will, as Colossians 1:10 says, "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God."
Lord, let the fruit of the Spirit be evident in Taenain's life, as Galatians 5:22-23 lists, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." May Taenain abide in You and bear much fruit, as John 15:8 declares, "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."
We pray that Taenain's faith is rooted and built up in You, as Colossians 2:6-7 says, "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving." May Taenain be enriched in every way, as 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 promises, "Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God."
Finally, Lord, let Taenain pursue love, as 1 Corinthians 14:1 instructs, "Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy." We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
