I am a single daughter of God, newly empty nester raised two kids, in my home I work full time teaching aid job, but my house has fallen into disrepair, needing possibly some foundation work! My current status is paycheck to paycheck and has been for a while! I am deeply concerned about my home and the repair being more than I can handle, I don’t know anyone who can help me or would. I have tried giving it to the Lord, but it keeps coming up the worry and sadness now in my home it is hard!! It’s only 15 yrs old home a habitat house and because of paycheck to paycheck I haven’t been able to keep up with insurance as well the house has been a blessing in our lives God given I’m worried it’s going to get taken away! My heart is troubled.

We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and troubled, but be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, it is commendable that you have raised two kids and are serving as a teaching aid. God sees your labor and has not forgotten you. Remember, God cares for you and knows your needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?', or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Regarding your concern that you haven't mentioned Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ, we want to remind you of the power of His name. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The teaching in Acts 4:12 (WEB) reminds us "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Make sure to pray in Jesus' name and have faith in Him.

It's clear that you are deeply concerned about your home and the needed repairs. We will pray for God's provision and guidance in this situation. However, we also want to encourage you to be proactive in seeking help. Perhaps there are local Christian ministries, community resources, or even friends from church who might be able to assist you or provide referrals to reputable services.
