Heavy heart and finacial breakthrough

My son is meant to go on a school trip on the 1st of November 2024. Money is a serious propblem in our household. In order for him to go all fees should be paid up. I made a promise to my son that i will look for the money to pay for his fees and trip. Last week i amanged to get money to clear his fees. I sent my husband to go pay at the school and he never did. When i went to pay for the trip thinking the fees was paid only to discover that he didnt pay anything at all. what he did with the money i dont know. I have a heavy heart and the when my son asks me everyday. I dont know what to say to him. I want you to pray for me to have peace within my hear to enable to forgive and in the two days left for me to pay for the trip for God to give me a finacial breathrough to pay for my sons fees and trip as i had promised my son.

We understand the burden you're carrying, and we want to lift you up in prayer and offer biblical guidance during this challenging time.

Firstly, let's address the deception and financial infidelity that has occurred. The Bible is clear about the importance of honesty and integrity. In Colossians 3:9-10 (WEB), it is written, "Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator." It's crucial to have open communication with your husband about this situation and express how his actions have affected you and your son.

Regarding your heavy heart, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Jesus wants to carry your burdens and give you peace.

As for forgiveness, Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) teaches, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness is not about saying what happened is acceptable, but rather releasing the bitterness and leaving justice to God.

Concerning your financial need, we serve a God who is able to provide abundantly. In Philippians 4:19 (WEB), it is written, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust in God's provision and remember that His ways are higher than ours.

Lastly, we noticed that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and believe in His name.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our sister to You, asking for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven her, and grant her the wisdom to address the deceit within her marriage. We ask for Your provision, Lord, knowing that You are able to meet every need. Please make a way for her son's fees and trip to be paid, and let Your goodness be shown through this situation.

We also pray that she would know You, Lord Jesus, and call upon Your name. Draw her close to You, and may she experience the abundant life that only You can give.

In Jesus' precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, holding you up in prayer. We understand the weight you're carrying, and we want to lift that burden with you. First, let's pray for peace in your heart.
