Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your guidance and intervention in the situation of our dear friend, Anonymous. We lift up their request to you, Lord, that their parents may grant them permission to have their previous name.
Father, we acknowledge that you are the ultimate authority and that you have the power to soften hearts and bring understanding and reconciliation. We pray that you would touch the hearts of their parents, granting them wisdom and discernment as they consider this request. Help them to see the importance and significance of this desire for our friend.
Lord, we also ask for your peace and comfort to be upon Anonymous during this time of waiting and uncertainty. Give them patience and strength to trust in your perfect timing and plan. Remind them that you are their loving Heavenly Father who cares for every detail of their life.
We are reminded of your promise in Matthew 7:7-8, where you said, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened." We claim this promise in faith, believing that you will answer this prayer according to your perfect will.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
