Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, on behalf of our anonymous friend who desires to humble themselves before You. We acknowledge that true humility is a precious virtue in Your sight, and we recognize that without Your grace, we cannot attain it on our own.
Lord, we ask that You would work in our friend's heart, helping them to see their need for humility and to surrender their pride and self-righteousness. May they have a deep sense of their own sinfulness and nothingness, realizing that it is only through Your mercy and grace that they can approach You.
We pray that You would fill our friend with a genuine humility that comes from a true understanding of their unworthiness and a complete reliance on Your righteousness. Help them to let go of any sense of self-importance or self-exaltation and to instead exalt You above all else.
Father, we ask that You would enable our friend to live in constant awareness of Your presence and to hear Your voice guiding them. May their thoughts be like sweet incense ascending to You, and may every act of their life be an act of worship unto You.
We join our anonymous friend in praying the words of Your servant of old, "I beseech Thee so for to cleanse the intent of mine heart with the unspeakable gift of Thy grace, that I may perfectly love Thee and worthily praise Thee."
We believe, Lord, that You will grant this request through the merits of Jesus Christ, Your Son. In His name, we pray. Amen.
