Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of our anonymous friend who seeks forgiveness and cleansing from all sin. We acknowledge that we have fallen short of your glory and we humbly ask for your mercy and grace. Your Word assures us in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We claim this promise today, believing that you are a loving and forgiving God.
Lord, we ask that you would wash away every stain of sin from our lives. Purify our hearts, our thoughts, and our actions. Help us to turn away from anything that separates us from you and guide us in the path of righteousness. We desire to live a life that is pleasing to you, filled with your love and grace.
We also pray for a deep awareness of your presence in our lives. May we constantly feel your overshadowing presence and hear your speaking voice. Help us to trust you completely, surrendering all that we have to you. We want to exalt you above all else and worship you with our whole being.
Lord, we thank you for the unspeakable gift of your grace through Jesus Christ. We confidently believe that you will grant us forgiveness and cleansing as we come to you in faith. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
