Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of our anonymous friend, who humbly seeks your forgiveness for all their sins. Lord, we acknowledge that we have fallen short of your glory and we ask for your mercy and grace to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We pray that you would help our friend to seek you with their whole heart. Open their eyes to see the beauty of your presence and the depth of your love. Guide them in the path of righteousness and lead them closer to you each day.
As we approach your throne of grace, we are reminded of the words in 1 John 5:14-15, which say, "And this is the boldness which we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us; and if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him."
Lord, we pray that you would align our friend's desires with your will. Help them to surrender their whole heart to you and to seek your guidance in all areas of their life. May their prayers be in accordance with your perfect plan, and may they experience the joy and peace that comes from knowing that you hear and answer their prayers.
We thank you, Lord, for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, which has opened the way for us to come boldly before your throne. We thank you for the assurance that when we pray in the name of Jesus, our prayers are heard and answered.
In the name of Jesus, we pray, believing that you will grant our friend's request and draw them closer to you. Amen.
