Jesus replied "I am the way,the truth and the life no man cometh unto the Father but by me."Here Jesus was assuring them that His departure would prepare for them an eternal dwelling place with the Father. The path to Heaven is opened through Jesus Christ for all sinners.
Jesus said if any man would be His disciple let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow after Him.
Broad is the way that leadeth to destruction. There are many enticements, pleasures and distractions. The way to Calvary was a lonely one.In order to make it to our eternal destination one has to be steadfast, and keep his eye upon the prize.
I am thinking of the song which says "One day at a time sweet Jesus thats all I am asking from you" The scripture tells us that the steps of a good man are ordered by The Lord.
The passion of Jesus Christ demonstrates how because of His suffering, our life is not our own and we must die to.self.In other words we must forget the old way of living a d find new and ultimate joy in Christ renouncing the things that would bring pleasure to the Devil.

I am reading Gods holy map. I read it every day and He said clearly to all of us. Follow peace with all men and holiness without which no one shall see the Lord. This is the best road we should take. Obey what He says.

Blessed be the Lord God almighty who was and is and is to come. He reigns forever more. Father in heaven how we love You, we lift Your name in all the earth. May Your kingdom be established in our praises. Let us all read Gods map that leads to heaven. It will lead us all to the same ´place we are dreaming on getting to.
