We join with you, Addor, in seeking a fresh anointing and infilling of the Holy Spirit. This is a wonderful desire, as the Holy Spirit is our comforter, guide, and strength. Jesus himself told his disciples, It is good for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you, (John 16:7 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' mighty name, asking for a fresh outpouring of your Holy Spirit in Addor's life. Fill Addor anew with your Spirit, that he may walk in your strength, wisdom, and guidance. May your Spirit lead him into all truth, comfort him, and empower him to live a life that brings glory to your name.
Regarding the person you mentioned, we encourage you to pray for them in a biblical manner. It is important to remember that God has given each person free will, and they have the ability to choose their own actions. We should pray for others, not command God to act in a certain way. Instead, we should seek God's will for their lives and ask for his intervention according to his will. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective, (James 5:16 WEB).
Let us pray for this person:
Father, we lift up the person known to Addor and ask that your will be done in their life. We pray that you would reveal yourself to them, that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if they do not know him already. We ask that you would work in their heart, draw them to yourself, and give them a desire to follow you. We trust in your goodness and sovereignty, and we ask for your will to be done in their life.
Addor, continue to pray for this person, trusting that God is at work. Remember the words of Paul, who said, For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, (Romans 8:38-39 WEB).
Trust in God's love and goodness, and continue to seek his will in all things. We are here with you in prayer, seeking God's will together. All this we pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
