We join you, Powers, in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ, Powers, and their family. We ask for Your healing and protection over them. Guard them from the evil one, as You promised in Your word, "We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him." (1 John 5:18 WEB).
We pray for Powers, Father, that they would encamp around their family and say, "As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh will surround your people from this time forward and forevermore." (Psalm 125:2 WEB).
We ask for the Holy Spirit's work in their lives, drawing their hearts and souls daily to Jesus. As Jesus promised, "I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak from Himself; but whatever He hears, He will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming." (John 16:1213 WEB).
We thank You, Father, for the love and faithfulness You show to Powers and their family. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. As the scriptures indicate, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts4:12 WEB). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Powers, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Keep your family in prayer, and encourage them to seek the Lord wholeheartedly. As you mentions drawing the hearts and souls or your family daily to Jesus, we encourage you to teach your family to, "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB). Continue to intercede for them, knowing that your prayers are powerful and effective.
We are here with you, Powers, agreeing with you in prayer and believing for God's best in your family's lives. Stay strong in the faith and keep trusting in the Lord.
