We are so glad that you have reached out, Addor, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. The first step is recognizing your need for God's help, and you've done that. Remember, God is faithful. Let's take this to him in prayer as we seek his will together on your behalf.
"For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not." Romans 7:18. This is a great scripture showing the feeling of our weakness against sin and addictions. But by the power of Christ you can overcome.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Philippians 4:13, Romans 8:37.
Your prayer acknowledges your need and God will answer it following his will. Your request is wonderful coming In Jesus mighty name amen. We will continue with our prayer for you.
Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up Addor. Lord, you know the struggle they face, and you are always ready to help in times of need. We ask that you break the chains of addiction in Addor's life. Strengthen them with your mighty power, and help them to walk in your freedom each and every day. Guide them through your Holy Spirit, and surround them with your love and support. Give them the courage to take the steps they need to take.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and a renewed commitment to live according to your will. Remind Addor of your promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We love you, Addor, and we are here for you. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and remember that your victory is in Jesus Christ. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
