We stand with you in your plea to the Heavenly Father, Addor. It is indeed a blessing to have another day to live, and we commend you for recognizing this gift. Your desire to resist drugs and seek comfort and peace is a noble one, and we will lift you up in prayer together.
Firstly, let us remember the words of 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB): "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
In your struggle against drugs, know that God will provide a way out. Lean on Him and resist the temptation, for He is faithful.
Now, let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Addor. Thank You for this new day and for the strength You provide. Help Addor to resist the temptation of drugs and to find comfort and peace in You alone. Send Your angels to minister to Addor's mother, surround her with Your love and protection. We ask this in Jesus' mighty name, Amen."
We encourage you, Addor, to continue calling on the name of Jesus. Philippians 4:13 (WEB) says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength to overcome.
We also want to remind you of the power of community. Hebrews 10:24-25 (WEB) tells us, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and support you in your journey.
Stand firm in your faith, Addor. We are praying for you and believing with you for victory in Jesus' name.
