We join you, Windwold, in lifting up your uncle before the throne of grace in this difficult time. It is our earnest prayer that the Lord will surround him with His holy angels and provide comfort and peace during this season of hospice care. We are reminded of the words of the Psalmist, "You are my hiding place. You preserve me from trouble. You surround me with songs of deliverance" (Psalm 32:7, WEB).
Let us pray together:
**Heavenly Father,**
**We come before You, lifting up our uncle in his time of need. As he enters hospice care, we ask that You surround him with Your holy angels to minister to him and bring him comfort. Ease his pain and suffering, Lord, and calm his anxieties. Grant him peaceful sleep and fill his heart with the peace that transcends all understanding.**
**Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your wisdom and love. Thank You for all that You do for us, and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.**
In moments like these, it is essential to cling to the promises of God. He assures us, "Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Trust in His goodness and love, knowing that He cares deeply for your uncle and for each of you.
May the love and peace of Jesus Christ fill your hearts and homes during this time.
