Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise for Your divine protection over our nation and its leaders. Thank You, Lord, for safeguarding former President ### from harm. We acknowledge Your mighty hand in his recovery and give You all the glory, for Your Word tells us, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them" (Psalm 34:7).
Lord, we lift up our nation, ###, to You. We are deeply troubled by the persistent issue of gun violence. Your Word reminds us that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask for Your intervention to bring an end to these senseless acts of violence. Grant wisdom and discernment to our leaders and law enforcement, that they may find effective solutions to protect the citizens of this great nation.
Father, we also pray for the safety of all current and future leaders, including President ### and ###, as they navigate their respective campaigns. May Your protection be upon them, and may Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We thank You, Lord, for all that You do for us. We trust in Your unfailing love and sovereignty. May Your will be done in our lives and in our nation.
