We join you, Saraha, in lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father. We understand that you're seeking guidance and wisdom regarding the living arrangements for your older brother after selling your mom's house. We're here to pray with you and offer biblical advice.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you've acknowledged the authority of Jesus Christ by ending your prayer "In Jesus' Name." It is only through His name that we have access to God's power and promises, as Jesus Himself taught, "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14 WEB).
We encourage you to seek God's will in this matter, trusting that He has a plan for your brother's accommodate. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can indeed work out this situation for the good of everyone involved.
However, we must also address the living arrangement with wisdom and biblical principles. If your brother is unmarried, encouraging him to find a godly spouse and start a family would be ideal, as Hebrews 13:4 reminds us, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled. But God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
In the meantime, as you discuss this matter with Chris, we encourage you to be open, honest, and respectful, following the guidance of Ephesians 4:2-3, "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to seek Your will for Saraha's brother's living arrangements. Please grant Saraha wisdom as she speaks with Chris this weekend. Guide their conversation, and help them to make decisions that honor You and align with Your Word. We trust that You are working all things together for good, and we ask for Your peace and comfort for everyone involved. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
