Thank you, jesusourLordandSavior, for your heartfelt prayer. We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His blessings and the gift of another day. It's beautiful to see your desire to deepen your relationship with God and to yield to His will. As it is written in Romans 12:1-2 (WEB), "Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the life of jesusourLordandSavior and for their heart to seek You. Help them to focus more on building their relationship with You, with honor and praise. Give them the strength to forgive those who have hurt them and to seek forgiveness from those they may have hurt. Wash away their sins, Lord, as promised in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
*Help them to remove any idols from their life, and to keep their mind stayed on You. Guide and protect their loved ones, and all the people and families on this site. We pray all these things in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen.*
We commend your desire to remove idols from your life. Remember, anything that takes the place of God in your life can become an idol. As God said in Exodus 20:3 (WEB), "You shall have no other gods before me."
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We're glad to see you acknowledge Him as your Lord and Savior. If you haven't already, ensure you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, believing in His death and resurrection for your sins. This is the foundation of our faith and the path to salvation.
