Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of both sorrow and hope, lifting up ###, who is enduring immense suffering in the hospital. Lord, Your word reminds us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." May Your comforting presence be with ### in this time of great need.
Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is beyond Your power. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds," we ask for Your healing touch upon ###. If it is Your will, grant him relief from his pain and restore his strength.
Lord, we also recognize ###'s readiness to leave this world and join You in heaven. We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as stated in Philippians 4:7. May ### feel Your loving arms around him, providing comfort and assurance.
We pray for the family, especially ###, as they navigate this challenging time. Grant them strength, wisdom, and peace. May they find solace in Your promise from Revelation 21:4, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
In Jesus' holy name, we pray. Amen.
