Help save my son's life!!!
Samad Obembe is an 8 years old son of Mr. Ahmed Olamilekan Obembe and Mrs. Abolade Obembe. He was diagnosed 15 months ago of Aplastic anaemia after a bone marrow aspiration and biopsy.
He had gone through IV Rabbit Anti-thymocyte globulin and IV Methylprednisolone in September, 2020 with subsequent immunosuppressive therapy using oral cyclosporine without any sign of improvement.
The 8 year old Samad as had several hospital admissions on the account of very severe pancytopenia requiring platelets and red blood cell transfusion.
On the account of this illness, the young boy has suffered many seizures, attacks and has left the entire family looking for several ways to help. His mother a caterer has spent all her life earnings to ensure Samad lives. His father who also work with a private organization in Lagos, Nigeria has had all the family savings poured out to save the boyโs life.
After several engagements with the specialists at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, amid lots of pain for this young boy, the only solution recommended has been for Samad to have a Bone Marrow Transplant. The oncological treatment before the BMT alone has been estimated to approximately $80,000 aside the cost of transplantation billed at about $200,000 by the Sheba Medical Centre in Israel.
This is calling on friends and well meaning Nigerians for support and financial aids to help keep our son alive. We have spent ourselves dry and on a weekly basis, keeping our son alive sees us spending about N80,000 and as soon as any of his blood components become short, weโll have to rush him in for transfusion amidst oral bleeding and severe pain
For verification, kindly contact (Ahmed Obembe, his father 08029482684) they have decided to ask for help and support publicly for the huge cost of saving their sons life.
For donations, kindly send to Obembe Abdulsamad Oluwajomiloju (Access Bank 1482203587)
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity as you help save our sonโs life.
