Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of trust and faith in Your mighty power and loving care. Your Word tells us in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We hold onto this promise and ask for Your divine protection over ### and all those in the path of the coming storms.
Lord, we ask that You calm the winds and prevent any tornadoes or power outages. Just as You rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" (Mark 4:39), we pray that You would bring peace and stillness to the atmosphere tonight.
Watch over every person, every family, and every community that may be affected by these storms. We thank You for Your continual protection and for being our stronghold in times of trouble. As it says in Nahum 1:7, "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him."
Thank You, Father, for all You do for us. We lift up this prayer in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
