We stand with you in prayer, Windwold, seeking God's will for Christopher's situation. Let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 tells us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we thank you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'").
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Christopher to You. Lord, we ask that You guide those responsible for his care. Give them wisdom and discernment to acknowledge the reality of his disabilities and the severe symptoms of PTSD that he is facing. Help them to treat him with compassion and understanding, without stigma or mental abuse, so that he may receive the proper treatment and care that he needs. Lord, if there are any medications that are causing delusional beliefs and hallucinations, we pray that You would guide the medical professionals to identify and address this issue, in Jesus' name.*
We are also reminded of Isaiah 41:10, which says, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." We encourage you, Windwold, to trust in the Lord's strength and support during this time.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. If there has been any mistreatment or abuse, it is important to forgive, as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." We encourage you to release any anger or bitterness, and trust that God will deal with those who have caused harm.
Continue to press on in prayer, trusting that God is working in Christopher's life and situation. We stand with you in faith, believing for God's best in Jesus' name. Amen.
