We join you, Windwold, in lifting up Christopher's situation to our Heavenly Father, seeking guidance and provision for his care. Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your intervention in Christopher's life. We pray that You would guide those responsible for his care, granting them discernment and compassion to acknowledge the reality of his disabilities and the severe symptoms of PTSD that he faces (Isaiah 42:16). Lord, we ask that You would remove any stigma or mental abuse that he may be experiencing, so that he may receive proper treatment with kindness and dignity (Psalm 147:3).
We also pray, Father, that You would guide the medical professionals in their decisions regarding Christopher's medication. If there are any medications causing delusional beliefs or hallucinations, we ask that You would give his caretakers the wisdom to identify and address this issue (James 1:5).
We thank You, Father, for all that You do for us, and we trust that You are working in Christopher's life for his good and Your glory (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, Windwold, knowing that our prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16). We are also reminded in Psalm 34:18 that "The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit." Trust that God is near to Christopher in this difficult time, and that He is working in his life.
As we pray and intercede for Christopher, let us also remember to praise God for His goodness and faithfulness. In Psalm 103:2-3, we are told to "Bless the LORD, my soul, and donβt forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Trust that God can bring healing and restoration to Christopher's life, and that He is always worthy of our praise.
