"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your comfort for Windwold and their family. Surround them with Your love and peace as they grieve the loss of their uncle. We trust that he has found eternal rest in Your presence, Lord, through faith in Jesus Christ, for it is written in John 3:16, 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.' We come before You, lifting up this family as they grieve the loss of their beloved uncle. We ask that You surround them with Your comfort and peace during this time of sorrow. Your Word tells us, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" (Matthew 5:4). We pray that this promise holds true for them, that they may feel Your presence and be comforted by Your love.
Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You draw near to them, offering them the strength they need to carry on. May they find refuge under Your wings, knowing that You are their stronghold and protector (Psalm 91:1-2).
Father, we also pray for the soul of their uncle, that he may find eternal rest in Your presence. As Your Word says, "And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it" (Ecclesiastes 12:7). May he rest in peace, embraced by Your eternal love and mercy.
