Heavenly Father please give me patience and understanding when dealing and talking to my teen grandchild. I love him and will always be here for him but sometimes, a lot of the times, I feel I'm getting tested. It's so easy to say the wrong thing when angry and I don't want to be that person. I pray every day and ask for guidance because it breaks my heart what he's doing to himself and the way he's acting but at the same time I do not want to push him away. I know you see my pain and tears and I have faith everything will be okay. I also have other grandchildren I take care of that I don't want to neglect by focusing on one.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and his heartfelt plea for patience and understanding in dealing with his teen grandson. Lord, You see the love and dedication he has for his grandson, and You know the challenges he faces. We ask that You grant him the wisdom and calmness he needs in these trying moments.

Your Word reminds us in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We pray for this wisdom to be poured out upon ###, that he may speak words of life and encouragement, even when emotions run high.

Father, we also remember the example of Job, who continually prayed for his children. We ask that You give ### the strength to continue in prayer, trusting that You are working in his grandson's heart. Help him to be a beacon of Your love and grace, never pushing his grandson away but drawing him closer with compassion and understanding.

We also lift up the other grandchildren in his care. Lord, help ### to balance his attention and love among all of them, ensuring that none feel neglected. We trust in Your promise from Philippians 4:6-7, that as we present our requests to You, Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We have faith that You are at work and that everything will be okay. We place ### and his family in Your loving hands.
