Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and trust in Your mighty power. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 121:2 that "My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." We lean on this promise as we lift up Saraha's prayer to You.
Lord, we ask that You cool the temperatures and send refreshing rain to quench the parched land. In Your infinite mercy, provide relief to all who are suffering from the heat. We ask for Your protection over Saraha's husband and all those who must work outside during these scorching days. Grant them strength and shield them from harm, as You have promised in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."
We also lift up the animals, both pets and wildlife, into Your loving care. Provide them with the shelter and water they need to stay safe and cool. As You care for the sparrows and lilies of the field, we trust You to care for all creatures, great and small.
Thank You, Father, for Your constant provision and protection. We trust in Your wisdom and timing, and we praise You for all You do for us.
In Jesus' Holy Name, we pray. Amen.
