Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you with hearts full of worry, sadness, and concern for our sister and her family. We ask that you would wrap your loving arms around them during this difficult time as they face the illness of her father.
We pray for your healing power to be upon him, Lord. We ask that you would be with him, and bring him the physical, emotional, and spiritual strength he needs to recover. We also pray that you would give his family the strength and courage to support him in every way they can, and that they would find peace, comfort, and hope in your love.
Lord, we know that you are the Great Physician, and we trust that you have the power to heal and restore our sister's father to good health. We ask that you would grant him your healing touch, and that you would guide his doctors and caretakers in their efforts to help him.
Please surround the family with your love and peace, and help them to feel your comforting presence during this time of uncertainty. May they find strength in their faith and hope in your promises.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
