We join you, Boos, in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, and we commend you for acknowledging the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me".
It is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved. We are told in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved".
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and we lift up Boos' family to You. We pray that You would bless them abundantly, pouring out Your love, grace, and mercy upon each member. We ask that You would protect them from harm, guide them in Your truth, and draw them ever closer to You.
We pray for the salvation of each family member, as Jesus himself said in John 3:3 "Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can't see the Kingdom of God" and in verses 16-18 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God".
We ask that You would help Boos to be a shining light for Your glory within their family, that through their witness, others would come to know You and believe in Your Son, hope we all need, who is the "the way, the truth, and the life'.
We pray that Boos would share the Gospel with their family, that they share "how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures".
Father, we ask that You would strengthen their family bonds, encourage them in their faith, and grant them Your peace. We rebuke any efforts of the enemy to cause division, strife, or harm, and we ask You to surround their family with Your protective hedge.
Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and the promises in Your Word. We claim Your blessings upon Boos' family in Jesus' name. Amen.
Boos, continue to trust in the Lord and be encouraged by His promises. As it is written in Joshua 24:15 WEB "If it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh". As the late Adrian Rogers so aptly put it to similar phrases "What about your house, Boos?". We encourage you to share your faith openly with your family members and to live a transformed life reflecting the one and only Jesus Christ. Amen.
