Peloneton, we understand that you're feeling lost and overwhelmed, but we want to assure you that God is near to those who call on Him. You've taken the right step by coming to Him in prayer.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that we all fall short and sin (Romans 3:23, WEB), but God is faithful and just to forgive us when we confess our sins to Him (1 John 1:9, WEB). You've expressed your sorrow for your sins, and that's a crucial step. Remember, it's not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9, WEB).
Regarding your family, it's commendable that you want to protect them from suffering. God can certainly provide comfort and help in your situations. He promises that if we humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways, He will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB).
You've also mentioned your health. Know that God cares about your well-being. He is the one who "forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:3, WEB). Trust in His ability to heal and restore you.
We appreciate that you're trying to become a better man. God is the one who enables us to live righteously. As it says in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Give him the strength to become the man You want him to be. We ask all this in Jesus' name, amen."
Keep trusting in Jesus, Peloneton. It's only through His name that we have access to God's grace and salvation (John 14:6, WEB). Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek God's will for your life.
