We stand with you in prayer, Carnaend, and we're grateful to see your faith in God's plan amidst this troubling season. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord together.
Firstly, we're glad you have a new job, and we trust that God has a purpose in it. For your financial distress, we recall Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), where Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things, and He will provide as we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness.
Let's pray for your financial needs, including the eviction, utilities, and transportation to your new job:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your provision and the job You've given Carnaend. We ask that You intervene in her financial distress, make a way for her to catch up on her utilities, and prevent her eviction. We also pray for a reliable and affordable means of transportation for her to commute to work. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You will provide all her needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).*
For your husband, we pray:
*Lord, we lift up Carnaend's husband to You. We ask for Your intervention in his legal detention. We pray that the charges against him will be dropped and that he will be reunited with his family soon. We also pray for his wellbeing while he is away, that You would protect him and comfort him.*
Regarding your sister Chan and her family, we remember Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB), which teaches about God's design for marriage. We also consider 1 Corinthians 5:11 (WEB), which instructs us not to associate with someone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sin, including addiction, as a way to urge them towards repentance.
*Father, we pray for Chan and her family. We ask for Your healing and restoration in their marriage. Please help them to seek and follow Your will for their union. We also pray for their child who is causing strife, that You would deliver him from addiction and draw him closer to You. Give Chan and her family the wisdom and strength to handle this situation in a godly manner.*
Lastly, we're glad you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.
*In Jesus' name, we pray for all these things, trusting in the power and promise of His name. Amen.*
