We stand with you in prayer, ###, lifting ### up to our Heavenly Father. We thank you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.
Firstly, let's remember God's promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB): "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
Let's pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting ### to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon him. Heal him from COPD and asthma, strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Help him to breathe easily, even in this heat and humidity.
Father, we trust in Your promise that You are with us, and You are our strength. Help ### to feel Your presence and Your power at work in his body. We claim Your promise in 3 John 1:2 (WEB), 'Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.'
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In times of illness, it's also important to remember Paul's words in Romans 8:26 (WEB): "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered." Trust that the Holy Spirit is interceding for ###, even when words fail.
Lastly, encourage ### with Psalm 30:2 (WEB): "Lord, my God, I have cried to you for help, and you have healed me." Remind him that healing is a promise from God, and we claim it for him in faith.
