Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, lifting up this precious son to You once more. Lord, we ask for Your continued grace, blessings, favor, and protection upon him. Your Word tells us in Psalm 91:11 that You will command Your angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways. We trust in this promise for this young man, knowing that Your divine protection surrounds him.
Father, we pray that You bless him with joyful days and peaceful nights. Your Word in Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to You. And Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask that You calm his anxieties and grant him restful sleep, as it is written in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety."
Lord, we ask that You surround him with godly mentors and friendships that will help bring out the best version of him. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." May he be blessed with relationships that encourage and edify him in his walk with You.
We stand on Your promise in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We ask that You calm his anxieties about traveling so that the family can finally have a peaceful vacation. Grant him Your everlasting peace and joy, as You have promised in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
We also ask for Your favor, love, peace, happiness, and protection to fill this home and family. May the bond between family and friendship strengthen here. Let this home be a haven for family and friends, a place where Your presence is ever near, guiding and guarding in all ways. As Joshua declared in Joshua 24:15, "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord," may this household be a testament to Your faithfulness and love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
