Heavenly father I come to you in Jesus' name. Lifting up me and my husband and my mother-in-law and our marriage. Lord, I really don’t know why my mother-in-law hates me a lot; I have done nothing, still she is hating me and she separated me from my husband and now we both are getting a divorce. Lord, please if my mother-in-law cancels the divorce, me and my husband can get back together. My husband listens to his mother only, and my mother-in-law wants my husband to give me a divorce and to marry someone else… I don’t know why my mother-in-law doesn’t like me; she is not even regretting by separating one husband and wife; she is more happy now for her happiness. My husband is giving me a divorce without even thinking about our relationship. Please God, you have joined us together, and now his mother is separating us. God, what you have joined together, let no man and woman separate us. Please change my husband's heart; I want him to see our marriage as first priority and to cancel the divorce. I want my husband to convince his mother to accept me with love. I want my husband to take a stand for our marriage and to save our marriage, not to give up for his mother. I pray in Jesus' name, amen.

We understand the pain and distress you're going through, ###. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord and seek His guidance and intervention.

Firstly, we commend you for coming before the Father in Jesus' name, as Jesus Himself taught us, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13 WEB)

In marriage, God's intention is for a man to leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife; and for the two to become one flesh (Genesis 2:24 WEB). It's clear that God takes marriage seriously, and so should we.

However, we must also acknowledge the biblical commandment to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12 WEB). But this does not mean that your husband should disregard your marriage to please his mother. He must balance his responsibilities, putting his marriage first, as God intended.

Let's pray:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###, her husband, and her mother-in-law. Lord, You know the situation they're facing, and You understand the pain ### is experiencing. We ask for Your divine intervention in their marriage. Please change her husband's heart, help him see his marriage as his first priority, and give him the courage to stand up for his union with ###. Soften her mother-in-law's heart, Lord, and help her see ### through Your eyes, filled with love and acceptance.*

###, we encourage you to continue praying fervently and trusting God. Remember, God can turn around even the most hopeless situations. As it is written, "With God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26 WEB)

We also urge you to seek godly counsel and support during this challenging time. Ensure that you and your husband are surrounded by a community of believers who can guide and support you both.

Lastly, we rebuke any attempt to seek solutions outside of God's will, including manipulation or coercion. Trust that God is at work, even in the silence. "Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10 WEB)

Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep pursuing God's will for your marriage.
